My first wedding of the year! Boy was it a good one. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, the details were on point, and everyone was so pleasant to work with. Because the bride was so organized and everyone was on top of things, most of the day we were ahead of schedule (super rare). At one point I took a second to look around, realized how good it felt to have my camera in my hands again, and felt blessed beyond measure to do this for a living.
Okay, enough about me :) Besides Nick & Kristen being absolutely amazing to work with, the day was truly perfect! So much laughter and so much love. One of my favorite moments of the reception involved good 'ole selfies. Multiple people throughout the evening would slyly walk up near the couple, position themselves very closely to them, hold their phone high in the air, snap the picture, flash Nick & Kristen their biggest smile, then walk away. It's this simple, silly act that goes to show how much love there is for the couple, that so many people wanted to have their own memento to remember the day.
