Really great venue, amazing couple, a little rain, the most perfect day.
The bride, Sarah, greeted us when we arrived and I will never forget how calm and at peace she was. She planned this day out to perfection, and now that is was here she was whole heartedly invested in enjoying it and not sweating the small stuff. Whether it was tightly hugging or attentively conversing with someone, her guests were the most important thing to her all day long. I was truly in awe.
I should also mention - the bride is my best friend's sister-in-law! So it was a bonus to hang out with her all day :) I met the groom, Andy right before the first look and he was nervous, but excited. He kept laughing as I paparazzi stalked him with everything he was doing :) But those journalistic images are my favorite.
Any time Andy & Sarah looked into each others eyes, I got chills. Guests were crying at the witness of this union, as the happiness they felt for the couple was overflowing. It was evident to all of us that these two each found their forever love. It didn't matter that it rained literally two minutes before the ceremony began...the wedding planners calmly and quickly moved everything inside (impressive) and we made the best of it. These two could have been married in a parking lot, wearing street clothes or pajamas; you wouldn't have noticed. Their love is powerful and that is what made their wedding day perfect.
